Lease 2020 M4 ZCP (3yr/10k)

Was just quoted $1306/mo for an $83,800 msrp 2020 M4 ZCP. South Florida Dealership. Just inceptions due. Seems about $306 too high for me. When I asked for the discount off msrp and how they arrived at that figure I get radio silence.

All South Florida Dealers are awful...! I live in Fort Lauderdale and have bought all my ///M cars out of state, except for one I got in Fort Pierce. All South Florida dealers think Bimmers are made out of gold

The fact that they won't walk you through the math is reason enough to not just walk away, but really to run away in the opposite direction as fast as humanly possible.

Unless you have a very specific reason why you want to lease a 2020 instead of a 2019, I'd start by looking at that. The equation would change if you were buying because of resale value, but that really shouldn't matter to you on a lease deal.

I'd recommend searching for the specs you want, then going to or calling different dealerships with all the information in your pocket in terms of what a good deal looks like (discount off msrp, lease credits and rebates, money factor). You should be able to land somewhere between 800-900 depending on the msrp, how aggressively you negotiate the deal, and your willingness to pay for MSDs.

That sounds about right, with around 7% off you could buy that car on a 72 month loan for $1300 a month @ 3.99 apr.
