A couple of recent pics from a drive to the Hunter.

Break in service his Friday.

Really undecided on lowering options. Considering the KW HAS or simple H&R springs.

Conscious of the driving I do and bottoming out on crappy city streets and country drives.

No tint?! Also, you don't need to lower it to hit a curb/park stop!

One (and only 1) of your interior photos looks like the "burn my eyes" red I commented on about the X5M. I have SO, so I know what it's about. What is your phone/camera?!

Tint was done today.

Camera is an iPhone 7+, however due to poor light or a flat looking image, contrast has been increased.

Regards the KW kits, I've been talking to the importers here in Oz and they're talking to KW in the states about getting access to the updated kit which addresses the potential front rubbing.

Food for though as if you want to buy it locally they only have access to the original kit at this stage....

Of course you can buy direct from the states!

I'll always support local distributors like Stuart@BMR before buying from the states where possible.

I can't easily go to the guys in the states if something goes wrong either, and Stuart is just a call away.

Me too, hence why talking to the distributor here, hopefully they can get access to the updated kit.

Following my 2k break in service with ECS spacers

H&R Sport Springs and ECS Spacers (12.5/12.5)

And just a few pictures for the hell of it.

Just about all of these photos are on Instagram, though they look like shit when added to Photobucket.

Suggestions for a better image hosting solution?

Nice! The car is looking hunkered down now with the spacers and springs.

Can't see you in that group shot - must be up the back somewhere.

I was mid-way on the left.

One more shot from that day. Clearly not my photo.

I'd say the H&R springs are 10-15% stiffer, though the rise is still as compliant as stock. The drop is low at the front, but the stance is literally perfect now. I was planning on going with the KW HAS which is very popular, though I might wait until I do wheels (If I do wheels as I love the black 666). Ive read a few posts here claiming the BMW M Performance HAS is better still, for about 15-20% additional cost, sourced from the US at least.

I should add that I did about 600km that day and not once did I bottom out or hit anything except one speed that I didn't show down enough for. Otherwise it's been perfect so far. Mind you, I'm assessing every driveway lol. If I do switch to HAS I will raise it up another finger. I may need to anyway to get a lip on the front without issue. I don't want to crunch it and replace it multiple times because of the suspension height.

Are the LCI2 headlights darker than previously as well?

Nice one.

Wish my girls were remotely interested. Perhaps if my car had magic ice powers.

I've been toying with the idea of replacing these wheels, but they look so damn good in the dark finish.
