Coin/rock sound rolling back and forth near driver side door panel

Hello guys,

2019 F82. Was wondering if anyone experienced this noise: it sounds like a coin/rock rolling back and forth near the driver side door/underneath driver seat when accelerating/braking hard. I checked the vent under the seat already with a telescopic magnet but there was nothing. Was wondering if anyone has experienced this sound.

I had a small part of a clip break off inside the door card that rattled around and drove me nuts. Just a trim tool and a screw later I was able to get it to drop out.

So weird how things will just break off when you didn’t even do anything to it smh

I had something similar, but turned out to be a small rock rolling back and forth on my carbon side skirts. That is when I finally installed carbon splash guards, and that finally eliminated those issues all together.

I did. 2018 M3 CS. Exactly what you described. Looked everywhere multiple times and it drove me crazy for a couple months then it just mysteriously stopped one day.
