Front downpipe removal

In the process of changing downpipes. Rear downpipe was removed with ease. Front downpipe doesn't seam to have enough room to pull out. Before I pull to hard, is there a trick or something I am missing?

Gosh that was tight pulling out. Putting the coated and wrapped OEM downpipe back in was tough. Lots of pushing and wiggling.

Sure hope the oem o2's last a very long time.
