Are you able to provide more details about the installed ? If he has any contact details let me know . I heard from some people they do not work with the adaptive headlights I’m not sure if you are aware of that.

Your adaptive function will not work because those lights don’t have that option. Everything else will work just fine. You will need a harness and coding which Marius can do. About 4 of us have already did the conversion.

So just got off the phone with Marius, if you are xenon or pre LCI you will NEED the harness and coding to make it work. I miss understood him last time (French accent) 😸He meant if you have pre LCI and are installing OEM ikons then you don’t need the harness. For these aftermarket ikons YOU WILL NEED A HARNESS AND CODING. Hope this helps! I’ve had these on for a few months and so far all good. No leaks and it’s been rainy here quite a bit and even in low temps at 30-35 degrees it held up. Only thing I wished I did was install some PPF Wrap over the lenses before Installed it. Took a small rock chip on the way to vegas driving 100mph

It looks like they have a plug and play xenon version as well (confirmed with seller, no adaptive function). As always, proceed with caution

But do they auto high-adjust just like the normal LCI LED's and Xenons?

You would have to ask Marius the guy who did the coding. Possibly he could make the harness so the pin position of the low and high beam different.

Hey everyone I have found this in the 4 series post where the owner changed his headlights from adaptive xenon to non adaptive one. I’m sharing this link because for the aftermarket ikon you need to code to the non adaptive xenon so I think this might help also I found all of these code in BimmerCode so maybe it’s possible with BimmerCode to code the light to the non adaptive xenon?
Any thoughts?
I’m not sure that’s the code, Inknow Marius used the non adaptive coding in beginning and it did not work. He said he has to wipe everything out and re enter the code. Not sure which one, just said software needed to be updated before recoding

yeah pretty much what Marius did was to wire and coded our back to be "non adaptive" then everything will be "plug and play" as intended

I highly doubt it because nearly all the internals are taken from a G30 5 Series headlight, nothing is custom made for these headlights, they just take the F32 housing shell and chop them open, plastic weld a bunch of components in from the 5 Series housing and seal them back shut using butyl.

If you compare your DRL's to actual OEM icons you'll notice they're different, especially the longer hexagonal shape, they're more drooped rather than round. If you look at the eyebrow section as well this is totally different to how the icons are designed.

I just got mine installed and they look great definitely way better than xenons. My only complaint is that I wish the DRLs where brighter.
