I'd just go with them - they look perfect.

How's the new shifter? Is the weight more than the one that comes with the car?

Feels really nice and I prefer it to the OEM shifter. It has a unique shape and a mix of different textiles, so it's unlike any other BMW shifter I've used, but I am enjoying it so far. Slightly heavier than stock, but not by much. Big upgrade in the looks department; especially with the other interior bits.

I got these from a seller on eBay. I have the oem CF shifters on my F95 and these are 100% identical. The weave, textured dots behind the paddle, size and weight.

Which leads me to think that BMW is sourcing the paddles from china. Here is a comparison pic

Wish I knew about these before dropping $600 on the OEM shifters on my F95

Do you have the sellers link on eBay?

If you look closely, the ebay paddles seem to have a different weave (actually 3 shades of grey) than the OEM G8x paddles, but for the price the ebay paddles are probably a good choice.

It's definitely the lighting that causing the different shade. Before I installed them I put them up to my OEM shifters I bought for the F95 and the weave was identical.

Sorry I'm just seeing this now. That's the seller I bought from.

When it comes down to it you're saving $500. $100 for the shifters off eBay or $600 for oem.
