I'm just completely new to this business) but I'm very interested) although it would probably be cheaper to just pay for some encoding) but still I think I'll succeed)

No video, but it comes with a detailed E-Sys Installation Instructions guide.

I downloaded this and it appears the install guide is blank? Also, there are several files that seem to be corrupted. Is it something on my end, or?

I just found this site, so am very new to BMW stuff. I managed to download a version of esys, but can't seem to get it to connect. My hunch is that not launcher came with it, but I haven't dug into it near far enough. Will definitely PM you once I have enough posts.

Only Free version is old outdated hacked Launcher PRO 2.8.1 in Post #1. No PM needed. Help yourself to it.

I am new there, and it is very unclear for me. There are lot of different/outdated info.

I have replaced my headunit (as I accidentally fried one I had). It is magneti mirelli (entrynav, yes?)

I would like to write my vin to it and original fsc codes (I have 4 original fsc files from bimmercode app backup).

I bought enet cable and received video tutorial of installing esys.

There are download links on the video description with this info:

Esys 3.27.1 - preferred coding version
Esys 3.30 - used for flashing and updating modules.

Is this for real? Why newer version is not capable of doing same thing as older?

I thought, that 3.27.1 is required for me, but given EST file is invalid anymore (valid to 2022-06).

Am I going right path? Maybe there are other working tools which will help with my issue?

New E-Sys can do all that old E-Sys can. Issue is for FDL Coding, you need a secondary App for CAFD Mapping, and in case of older E-Sys, you also need an .est Token, and if old outdated Launcher 2.8.1 is used, then it limits your E-Sys version to older E-Sys. This is the limit of Launcher, not E-Sys.

Use new CAFD Mapping Solution like BimmerUtility, and you can use latest E-Sys, 3.40.2.
