Completely agree. So glad the trooper was ok and unscathed. Does anybody know how the driver of the 7-series fared? He took a major impact. And is it him or the idiot driver crying in the background?

There is a 17 year old locally waiting to go to trial. He was in a M5 and went "thru" the mini van stopped in front of him. He whacked the whole family in one shot..mom, dad, 3 small children..est speed was 150 plus..he didn't get a scratch on him. His rich dad is already trying to blame it on the hatians he wiped out..

That is just crazy. I am glad there were no fatalities! F series M cars have serious traction issues but going into a bend at 120 mph is just stupid! No AWD would have prevented this. Hopefully lesson learned!

Yesterday afternoon while browsing the BBC news webpage, I saw the thumbnail for their copy of the accident video showing the M3, the 7, and the z4. I thought about Bimmerpost.

I’m happy that the officer survived the incident relatively unscathed (mentally, though?), and was also surprised that he didn’t hop the roadside barrier. We don’t always think straight when panicking, I guess. I hope that the M3 kid faces severe consequences.

My 150-hp ‘86 T-bird might have been too much when I was a teen back around 1990, since I once tried passing too many cars on a two-lane road and came close to colliding with oncoming traffic. I still get queasy when I periodically remember it.

i'd guess the 7 did ok. those things are tanks and it doesn't seem like a flush door hit. but would be worried about that whiplash and if his head hit the side window.

if that z4 was t-boned flush idk if he would have made it

It is odd isn’t? Same actions could have led to fatalities and much stiffer charges.

The law does appear to be results oriented at times.
