- Feels like good quality, but all the resistors and wiring are a bit much, do yourself a favor and clean it up with zipties and heat shrink if you can.
- Fender tail light: Easy install.
- Trunk tail light: Tried cutting/moving foam near the middle locating pin and this didn't help much, you really don't want to force this step as you'll likely break the outer retaining lip if you force this. I ended up trimming down the middle locating pin and the tail light just pressed down easily. When I compare the oem and vland trunk tails, the middle locating pin isn't positioned correctly. Trimming it down / cutting it off didn't seem to have any effect on fitment. Would be interested to see how others fixed this.
- I have an LCI so initially didn't hook up the outer to the inner tails, then tried wiring it after to see if there was indeed an inner brake light, there doesn't seem to be on the F82/F83.
cut all legs for trunk light(2 legs and 1 like "+") mine seats flush

Those look incredible, and thanks for the write-up about them. Did it come with instructions for a pre-LCI F82 on what to wire up?

mine is pre-lci and there's no extra connectors so it's easy, only thing is there's a 2 pin connector you need to plug it from outer light to trunk light

I don't mean to be a downer, but the gaps and fitment look horrendous on that picture. Tesla quality gaps.

Hey F82 in QC,

So what is your overall honest assessment on the lights? Would you recommend, or highly recommend. Would you buy them again from same source? Hows the fitment with the adjustments out of /10?

Thanks!!

The left side looks kind of fine except for the bottom, which does not line up horizontally. The right side was horrendous. Also, your M4 badge has the wrong gapping and it looks funny.

I've purchased parts from Aliexpress before and have the exact same issues. For example, I have purchased black front grilles that don't quite snap in and are loose and require tape. They sometimes get better over time when they make their V2 and V3 products, but a lot of times, they don't. Anyway, I appreciate your posting of these parts and do not mean to be annoying. Just want to point out the issues.

they gave the car a fresher look but I kinda feel like it lost some aggresiveness when looking in the back, i'd say 8/10 for the fitment but im not complaining about it,but they make my trunk heavier tho

Direct from Vland - Still need to mess around with them until I'm satisfied with the fitment.

Hmm... RIP.

Time to wait until better examples and sources become available. The fitment & gaps would drive me nuts.
