Painting caliper opinion

Hello, I’m trying to paint my calipers with g2 caliper paint and debating on what color I should do. My car is ymb and going to have black wheels soon. I’m having a hard time on what color I should do.. I’m debating on silver, yellow, orange or red. Let me know what you guys think!

If you want them to stand out go with yellow. Friendly recommendation however, don't go with the g2 caliper paint. I've never seen anyone get good results with a "self leveling" brush on paint system. You always end up seeing the texture of the brush strokes. You have a nice car — do it right: take them off, sand down/media blast, mask, primer, color, transfer logo stickers, & clear.

Why not choose the performance Gold of the carbon brake calipers?

I’ve done three cars with G2. It looks good from ten feet away, but up close, not so great. When I got my M3, I shipped the calipers off to be powder coated. I chose yellow to go with LSB.

My only option unfortunately is to get it painted because I daily this car so can’t send the brakes to get them powder coated. I guess my only/best option is to use g2 caliper paint.

If you have to just mask it off and use vht caliper color and then clear. Going to be way better results than brush on.

Hmm that would also be easier but I heard spray paint caliper paint will chip. Is there a clear coat you recommend ??

VHT makes color and clear, chipping is usually caused by improper bond of paint or overheating. VHT should be pretty high temp, similar to G2.
