BM3 burble

2015 BMW ///M4 DCT 44k

Currently I have BM3 stage 1. I do have the Dinan axel back muffler. When I bought my BM3 the person that did the download for me set my burbles to mid way. He stated that if I set the burbles to high it could damage the cats. I have definitely heard some loud burbles from ///M3 and ///M4’s. My question is can I up my burbles for a couple of hours to hear what my car sounds like without damaging the cats?

Thank you,
b

You said loud burbles so I will assume those M's run catless. If you put the BM3 burble setting at high with your stock cat I'm curious if they would sound similar.

Well you are a great person to ask. Do you think I will do any harm if I turn it up for an afternoon ride?

I don't think it will do any harm just for a couple hour ride. But I don't recommend running it for a long period of time, unless you upgrade to a sport cat or catless.
