Getting This Error - Parking assistance - No parking assistance, please park unaided.

Parking assistance - No parking assistance, please park unaided. Have the problem checked by your service partner.

Pulled the code with Bimmerlink

It says outside front left.

There are 6 sensors on the front in my car.

So I know it's not the right 3 nor the 1 in the middle left.

But not 100% sure if it's the one by the side camera or on the corner of the bumper.

Anyone have any tips on how to troubleshoot this?

Should I just buy a new sensor? My car is alpine white I assume I'd need the part number for the alpine white pdc sensor.

I'm still under warranty but I swapped the bumper to a euro bumper so I'm assuming the dealer will give me crap about that.

I already unplugged the one by the camera and plugged it back in and still randomly get the error.

I wonder if ISTA has a diagnostic function for testing the sensors?
I don’t have PDC but are you able to swap sensors from the other side and see if the problem follows?

So I got around to doing this and now it's a permanent error and moved it back after.

I ordered another sensor and will see if that fixes it.

I wonder if taking it apart and putting it back together caused whatever was intermittent to now be permanently broken

Yep. Changed the left sensor (not the outside one next to the camera)and it's no longer an issue
