Easy? Isn't it a PITA to curve the vinyl around the bends without wrinkles? You did a very clean job.

If you use good quality vinyl (I used Vvivid) and a blow dryer/heat gun, it's very easy. A quick pass of the heat gun (12 inches away), the vinyl almost immediately loosens up to be stretched. There are stretching techniques and stretch distribution that you can master, but this job can definitely be done by a beginner.

I watched a lot of youtube videos on vinyl wrapping before attempting it. Did you know there are global vinyl wrapping competitions? Crazy!

No. I have two sets of kidney surrounds now; one is wrapped in the satin gunmetal vinyl and the other is wrapped in satin black vinyl (which is what I've been running for a while now).

Here's the satin black version.
