Agreed - Swisstrax is great. Completely transforms a garage and seems to hold up really well.

How much does it cost to get this installed in a 2 car garage? Can you Use a floor jack on top of these?

My garage is a funny shape so it was like 1200, they have a 20% off deal right now. I'm pretty sure you can use a jack.

Love swisstrax. No issues with floor hacks either, and they glide real nicely across the tiles versus concrete. For jackstands with the pointy bases, I lay an extra swisstrax tile down in-between to prevent denting on the garage floor.

Why this version versus Racedeck? I am just looking into this world and know very little. I hate the brown epoxy in my garage currently

Doesn't shit get trapped in between the tiles? What do you do when you spill oil, have a muddy car in the winter? I mean, it seems nice for a clean garage somewhere where it doesn't rain or snow.

We've got an epoxy floor with a drain so I just dump a bucket of hot water all over it and squeegee the floor to clean it.

The reviews on this brand are better, from what I've read most big reviewers had racedeck and switched. Price is about the same or leaa

It's grated so you can just wash them off. My garage is a slight slant so the dirty water etc will just run out.

Swiss Trax great product, easy to install. Took about 4 hours to layout complete floor and another 3-4 hours to cut in the edges, with help you could do it in no time!

Does anyone have polished concrete? I've seen what looked like a dark gray marbly look at one of the open houses i went to see a while back. I wonder how that holds up.

Definitely the way to go. It's just very slippery when wet so need to be careful to squeegee more often especially if you're in freezing temps.

Looks great! Did any of you have any cracks on your garage floor? Did you have any issues putting the tiles down with them?

I'm in New York and just read up on polished concrete. Apparently the floors can get damaged from the winter salt and yeah it gets slippery. Might go the Swiss tracks route even though I'm honestly not a big fan of the looks.

No problems, very easy. My house is like 5 years old and no cracks.
