there are definitely enough in the area to do it and look mean as hell; just a matter of getting everyone onboard

I noticed there is a DIY event in the morning. Do these places allow you to bring your own parts/supplies or do they want you to buy them from the sponsor?

Thanks. I was curious for future reference. How much time do they allow per person?

DIY event is full and easily one of our most popular programs. I've done countless mods, maintenance, and repairs that I could never do at home in my garage with no lift.

Depends on how much time the location gives us and the type of work performed. Usually a 2 hr window is enough time to do several fluid changes or a brake job. We've done bolt-on exhaust swaps, valve cover gaskets, cooling system overhauls, suspension changes, and much more. All for the price of $20 for the lift, technicians on stand-by for any questions, and sometimes even special tools are used (anyone ever had to get a subframe bushing out or need a spring compressor?).

That's good to know. I wasn't aware there is a fee. The convenience of a lift is definitely an appeal. I did the oil filter housing gaskets on a n54 and it took 4 hours, which included coolant and an oil change in the process. Mainly just a lot of crap you have to take off to get access.

I think for some jobs that truly require a lift I'd probably pay an independent to do the job. I'll need to switch out a few parts later this year when I return my car to stock once my M4 hopefully comes in.

Saturday's forecast looks perfect! We should have a great BMW turnout and we look forward to seeing everyone.
