No Map update

Hello,
I wanted to do a map update on my BMW M4 2018 LCI. The first maps from 2018 were still installed. I bought the latest map update(Roas Map Euro EVO 2024) from BMW. I took a 64GB USB 2.0 stick and installed it using the BMW download manager. Then put the stick in the car. A message appeared saying new map data had been found, update it. I did that. Then a message appeared saying "Connect the USB device to the correct FSC. Now the navigation system is in permanent "Loading" mode. No navigation system possible. The update always comes up with the same message with the correct FSC. I received this from BMW. I don't know what to do next.

That's not the solution to my problem, is it? I bought an update via myBMW. What's the point if I buy this?

To solve your issue. Anyway if you don’t want to go aftermarket contact BMW. They are the only one that can solve your issue since you purchased from them.

OK. And does my problem work with the FSC from the shop? So is the original FSC from BMW faulty or what exactly is the problem? I paid 80 euros for it.

I don't know where you put OEM FSC or what did you do with it exactly. Specify please then I can tell you.

Hi, thanks for your help. I have the OEM FSC in the root directory in the FSC folder. The download and installation on the stick is done via the BMW Download Manager.
