Hi, I paid the £212 to upgrade to Apple Car Play in the sale. Didnt want to run the risk of having it installed independantly. Big girl I know. However, is it possible to upgrade the factory car play to full screen?

Shout out to kubax86 with his fast transactions, clear instructions and simple to use application on enabling Apple Carplay.

Kubax, if I may, one suggestion I would recommend adding to your instructions for the section 4.How to connect to CarPlay? is to add restarting the phone if it can't see the Carplay's wifi network. For whatever reason, my iPhone 16 Pro max wasn't able to see the network UNTIL after I restarted my phone. That may help some users out there.

One question I have in general, is it normal for Carplay to lose connectivity if you are doing other things on the phone while connected? I noticed the connection degrades (Spotify starts to skip or extra latency) and/or eventually drops Carplay connection. Just seeing if others are seeing this as well and if there's a fix.

I have a question for you kubax86 regarding the CarPlay coding. I got my M4 coded with CarPlay and it's been great for the last 3 years. I am looking at having my car's iStep software updated at the dealer to the most recent version available. Anything of concern I should be aware of with them doing that? I wouldn't want them to remove my CarPlay haha.
