I recently swapped to a new wheel and tire setup on my F10 M5 at the same time I purchased an F80 M3. The old setup on my F10 was as follows:

BBS CH-R fronts 20 x 9, 29mm offset with Michelin PS4S 265/35/20
BBS CH-R rears 20 x 10.5, 35mm offset with Michelin PS4S 305/30/20

When searching Tire Rack's website, it says these are the same offset for F10 M5 and F80 M3. On the other hand, I see 305/30/20 tires don't seem to fit on the rear on an F80 M3.

I will be lowering the car on Eibach V2s. I also have two pairs of 12mm spacers at my disposable to make things fit better.

What would be the easiest way to make this setup fit with no rubbing? Will simply charging out the rear tire for a 295/30/20 work?

305s will never fit on that setup on an F80. Sell the 305s and buy 295s.

From the research I've done and threads I've read, it seems the small change of going from a 305/30/20 in the rear to a 295/30/20 should address any fitment issues at stock height. I just wonder if this is the case for a lowered F80 M3 as well as I'd hate to run into additional issues after dropping around $800 on two rear PS4S tires.

After digging in a little deeper, it looks the 35 series front sidewall on the existing tires would be too tall as well. Only way to make it work would be to order 4 new tires in completely different sizes.

265/30/20 F with +10mm spacer and 295/30/20 R tire would make those rims fit even when car is lowered.

Okay, I've ordered a set of 265/30/20 and 295/30/20 Michelin PS4S to swap over. Will keep everyone updated.

Spent Memorial Day cleaning up the fleet of cars, including the F80 M3, and ended the evening by mounting up the 20" BBS CH-R wheels and Michelin PS4S tires to replace the OEM 437M wheels as my rear tires on those were starting to get down to the wear bars.

The 20 x 9 with a 29mm offset + a 12mm spacer in the front with a 265/30/20 and the 20 x 10.5 with a 35mm offset with no spacer and a 295/30/20 rear tire fit perfectly and NO RUBBING.

I absolutely love the looks of the all satin black wheel with the curb ring removed. It reminds me of the E90/E92 359M ZCP wheel.

Looks proper. I like it without the curb ring as well.
