Yes it sounds really good, several people have an AA midpipe with a Remus axle back.

Has anyone just removed this brace? Doesn't seem like its significant enough to cause any problems if it's not there.

I have. I got no brace. It provides no structural integrity. The midpipe does not bounce enough for a brace to be needed. I don't understand why people spend so much time and money trying to have a brace that doesn't touch the pipe when you can just remove it. Just make sure you screw in the bolts without the brace.

+1 VRSF/MAD/AA single midpipe with Remus Axle back. I have it and it has the deepest and most aggressive sound for this platform (IMO).

My VRSF brace still touches. Installed yesterday and there was credit card gap. Started having vibrations on warm up after a few hours. Woke up this morning and the pipe was sitting on the brace so I took it off

Hey did you have to modify/cut the mpe to fit the vrsf mid pipe?

Yes, you will have to cut the midpipe right behind the connection to the the axle back. This goes for almost all mid pipes that connect to rear of the factory system.

Just got mine installed! Sounds awesome.

I do have a very small leak at those clamps. Yours look different from the clamps my vrsf came with, are yours shortened?

Mine is the mad down pipe but essentially the same. I put some high temp rtv in to help seal it up.

Just went from a VRSF mid single to an AA resonated single mid. ARM catless downpipes and Dinan axle back were paired with both. Sound difference is huge. VRSF screams after 3.5K RPM. Not negative, but just screams. AA resonated has a much more refined sound. Overall, fitment was great on both.
