Anyone running the BMW star spec G8x PS4S on their F80x?

So I have an order in for a G82 BMW star spec set of PS4S 275/35/19 and 285/30/20 for my M4 CS and was wondering if anyone has tried this setup?

Apparently the star spec of the PS4S is superb on the G8x and wondering what to expect on the CS for street use.

I have the G80 star spec 4S 275/35r19 sitting in my garage waiting for my Richland Forged wheels to come in … expected to ship next week!
F:19x9.5 +25 R:20x11 +38

I went with the generic 295/30r20 for the rears to get a little more contact patch since I'm stage 1 and need more traction.

I think the star fronts are the most important with the reviews on the improved steering response. I plan to do a detailed write up once I get everything mounted!

I just realized I have the star spec cup 2s from the G80 on my rear. Didn't realize they were the same tire.

Basically it's a great tire but it's still not enough to put down 580 whp lol

I'm going to slap on 305s when I get a new wheel set.

Yes, they fit perfect. When the shop was mounting the set, we compared a generic 4S 275/35r19 next to the F8X *4S 275/35r19 and the *4S are not as wide. So no rubbing! Most F80 owners have rubbing with the generic 4S 275/35r19. Steering response is also amazing. It is transformational with what the front G80 tires do for the F80 platform! Sorry for the dirty wheels … got a chance to go to Road Atlanta a few days ago and test them out!

I bought mine from tire rack … I started my search with a 2021 M3 vehicle and then searched for the oem tire to get the G8X *4S fronts.

EBII335 got any more pics from further back? Curious how tall the front tires look given that they are 275/35/19s

Thank you. Appreciate it. Any issues with MDM since the fronts are taller than the rears? I believe our factory tire diameter stagger has the fronts a lot shorter than our rears.

Thanks for sharing this great info!

is there a specific reason you didn't go with rear 19" and possibly 295/35 tire?

No MDM issues. I think the diameter increase % in the front equals the diameter increase % in rear. Both are less than 2%.

Oh yes I totally forgot that you were running 20" rears. Seems like a good combo.

275/35R19 26.6" diameter (front BMW star)
295/30R20 27.0" diameter

I have 19x11" rears

305/30R19 26.3" diameter
295/35R19 27.1" diameter

Unless I step up to 35 series, the rear will be shorter. But the 295/35R19 seem so tall.

Normally I'd run 265/35 or 275/30 in front to pair with 305/30R19 rears, but I was really wanting to try the new G8x BMW star tires.
