Turn2 for sure - 7 x 20 min sessions and you're back on track every 40 min and done by 5pm. 2023 dates are tentatively locked right now and are pretty much a Friday + Saturday event once a month, every month from April - Oct. OnGrid - definitely not going to another of their events. Not organized very well, way too many drivers in each group, driver skill taken at face value w/ seemingly no vetting, had to wait 2 hours between sessions with a 3 hour lunch break (skipped the last session because it was scheduled for after 6

Turn2 only going forward, maybe CCA if they will do more than 4 sessions in a day.

Not uncommon to see honestly. It happens on some of my rollover collisions too, especially if they are on a decline and/or in a ditch.

For example……..if I respond to an overturned car on the side of a mountain [or in a ditch] on a two lane road (…one lane for each direction of travel), the priority is getting the vehicle off the mountain and opening up that road ASAP. There isn't room nor time to go through the hassle of flipping the car over. There's no gain; the vehicle is totaled.

Yeah I was gonna say it's probably totaled anyway so flipping it over doesn't matter in that case.

Yup, the owner lost the right to care about their car's condition when they flipped it. Sad but true...

I was thinking that it seemed a lot harder to drag a car up onto a flatbed on its roof than it would be to flip it over real quick and put it back onto its rollers. Good to have your perspective Sedan_Clan as a first responder

Any time!

It's actually easier to drag the car on its roof. The coefficient of friction is much lower than it would be compared to the tires and undercarriage being dragged across asphalt. In many of these crashes the driveline is damaged, axles and suspension bent/broken, wheels/tires bent, etc.

Yep, the carbon buckets were great and absolutely the only thing I liked better about the new model.

those are the numbers. about as expected. similar acceleration to other NA cars like the GT3, R8, or 458. all trapping around 130mph in the quarter. absolutely massive 345 section Cup2Rs in the back rocket it to 60 in 2.6 seconds.

it is about 450 pounds heavier than the GT3 though.

3660 pounds. weighs as much as an R8 or 911 turbo.
