Can't believe there'll be another Avus Blue with bronze TE's. Looks great man.

I just finished applying OG stickers and ceramic coating to my 18"s. Will mount and post pics this week.

Haven't had a chance to wash her and take good photos, so you'll have to deal with this crappy one from today.

Doing suspension and lowering it in a couple weeks.

Anybody here running 19x11 in the rear with Michelin PS4S in 285/35/19?

Doesn‘t matter which offset. I just want to see how this tire stretches on 11s.

You might find that there is a little too much stretch for your liking. I have the 285/35 PS4S on the 10.5 rear wheel and to me, it looks too stretched. I will definitely be going to a 305 rear next.

The 285/35 tread width runs a little narrow, which is annoying. It's only 10mm wider than my front 265/35 tire (and 28 mm narrower than the 295 tire which should be only 10 mm wider).

Here is a pic of my 285/35 on 10.5 inch wheel. If you look closely, the actual wheel is sticking out probably 5 mm outside the fender lip, but the top of the tire is sticking inside the fender lip by 10 mm. Dont get me wrong, I still think my setup looks good. I just prefer a little more meaty fitment and going to 11" wide wheel would be too much for me personally.

Thank you for your answer.
I also drive the PS4S 285/35/19 on BBS FI-Rs right now and the rear wheel is 10.5 inch aswell. Therefore I know how it looks and imo it is not that stretched. I think on a 11 inch it would look exactly how I like.
I have seen a 275/35/19 on a 11 inch wheel and this really looked a little too stretched.
What offset are you running on this pic? Currently on the FI-Rs I am running ET35 with a 7mm spacer in the rear so it results in ET28.
If I choose a 11 inch wheel now I was wondering if ET30 would clear as with more stretch you can run more aggressive offsets…

Do you know exactly which 275/35 version of the PS4S the tire you saw on the 11 inch wheel?

There is a quite a large difference in tread width between the 5 different versions of the 275mm wide PS4S. The 285mm PS4S is only 0.2 inch wider than the widest 275/35 PS4S, so the 285mm will only have 2.5 mm less stretch per sidewall than the 275mm tire you saw on the 11" wheel, and that is best case scenario. The narrowest 275mm PS4S is 1.1" narrower treadwidth than the 285mm, or almost 14 mm narrower per sidewall.

My effective offset for my rear is +25 (10.5" wheel +35 offset, with 10mm spacer). I tried a 15mm spacer to get the tire's shoulder flush with the fender, but with the 285mm stretched on a 10.5 inch wheel, the wheel sticks super far outside the fender and would rub under enough suspension compression. If i had a wider tire on the 10.5 inch wheel, I could get the tire to fender flushness that I want without having the actual wheel stick so far outside the vertical fender to ground line.

Your 11 inch wheel with 30mm offset with 285mm PS4S idea would fit no problem. The wheel rim would stick 1mm further out than how my 10mm spacer picture looks below, except that the top of your tire would have a little more stretch by roughly 6 mm inwards per sidewall. You could play with tire camber at that point to fine tune things, but you shouldnt have to mess with rear camber at all to fit that setup.

I just read through this whole post. It seems as if you can run a 19x11 +37 with 305/30 lowered on the M4 without rubbing but not the M3. Is that right? I'm considering getting that setup for my M4 but want to make sure. I wish they had something like a +43 or so so I can adjust it out with a little spacer if I want it to be a little more aggressive. Thanks.

I would agree with you based on everything I have read on this topic regarding the 11 inch wheel with a +37 offset. It's also hard to know exactly where and how people are rubbing for those who say they have a rubbing issue.

Ultimately, it all boils down to the exact tire make/model/size and your ride height/camber setting, but I think an 11" +37 wheel and most 305 wide tires will fit on the F82 M4, and fine tweaking with some camber changes if necessary. The F80 M3 rear fender well seems to be maxed with most 295mm tires or would require too much negative camber to fit a 305.

I know on my M4, with the coilovers adjusted so that distance from wheel center to top fender edge is the same on both sides, I get different amounts of rubbing for each side at my ride height (on KW V3 coilovers).

With a 285/35 rear tire on a 10.5" +25 effective offset, the right (passenger) side fender liner has rub marks in 20 different places all over. The left (driver) side fender liner only rubs on the outside where the liner meets the highest point of the metal fender at the 12 0'clock position. It has completely rubbed the fender liner away, but doesnt touch the metal painted fender at all.
