It's funny that people drop thousands for individual colour or full leather or other upgrades that have nothing to do for performance yet it's the ZCP relatively inexpensive option that gets the most attention.

This is why I am tending towards the deal although I love my non zcp 16.

Getting a good deal on the 18 and choosing different color with carbon fiber roof this time for 50 bucks more per month and my current car has an accident record and trade in is more than my payoff

For a daily driver difference may be negligible but resale value and overall package seems good.

Is adaptive suspension now standard feature?

What are ur thoughts?

In Canada, adaptive is standard. For me personally, it's a no brainer. I just traded my 17 non ZCP for an 18 ZCP (coming next week) because I had the opportunity to get a ZCP for same payment as 17' and I know this will be the last year for this model until it get replaced.

Just my 0.02c

High Performance Sports (F82) Coupe. I wouldn't even go nuts on a Civic.

My primary guideline is to keep my M4 as "Stock" as possible. Truly, No additional
power is necessary! Any added Mod. should be "OEM - BMW" and/or serve a specific
purpose, not exclusively aesthetic, and live up to the car, Not vice versa. And, Not
"Made in China"!

The Competition Package is totally worth it!

_ * Increased Horsepower - Installed at the Factory
_ * Fortified Suspension - "
_ * Reprogrammed Steering - "
_ * Modified (Improved!) Exhaust - " (Mod./Paint/Replace Tips!)
_ * Killer Seat Belts! - "

None of the above being piggy-backed or aftermarket, with Full Factory Warranty
and a better resale value over aftermarket mod's. applicable to the same
(HP. Susp., etc.) areas!

Take note - The Competition Package "Mod's" (above indicated) were specifically
developed and made for your car, by the same engineers/manufacturer (OEM)
who designed the car itself.

Oh! Get the Carbon Fiber Roof!! IMO, it looks Excellent AND, besides making your car
lighter, it will lower your Center of Gravity!!!

I also don't like the 666 wheels - because of their size ("unladen weight") - 20"'s!
You may want to look into winter tires. If so, use this as an excuse to switch
them out for 19" wheels with higher profile tires. I did.

My $0.02

Good Luck!!

Cheers!

P.S.: If you want more customization, go "Individual". It will cost you a bit more, although Not as much as with a Porsche

That's quite interesting given that you want to drive a zamboni!

Never....ever...make fun of a Zamboni. In Canada, this is considered a felony.

Perhaps because the performance difference is negligible and 99% of people dont drive the car at 10/10ths anyway? So if someone budgets $5-6k for extras, maybe a unique color or interior is more important

I test drive both. If u have bad roads, be cautious of the statements suggesting the ride is no harsher than non-zcp. Really? On bad roads, as the OP suggested? Spend the money on exec / full leather and be rewarded on even daily mundane rides, which occur often in a daily driver.

Just to be clear:

-Most of us have bad roads
-iPhone pics aren't "crappy"
-If you want to save the 6MT, buy one.
-M3 looks meaner than M4
-ZCP is the way to go.

Both are cool but even if I didn't need the extra family doors, I'd still get the M3 with it's stance.

I guess you can't really go wrong with either.

I still think to many eyes the M3 is a more classic shape with a strong influence from the E90 M3.

The M4 has a great side stance but sometime I see that bum and think

Would be nice to see wider rear end. It would go a long way with the rest of the shape.
