Keeping mine. It's a 2015 MT with low miles and has been bulletproof so far.
I kept my last BMW for 8 years, I plan on keeping this one at least that long. |

Keeping mine for the long term.
That said the bigger grills of standard two kidney design will probably start to grow on people but the full top to bottom mouth on the concept 4 I think is a bridge too far. |

I think the F8x is still great looking and won’t be going out of style anytime in the near or far future. I’ve got a lot of money and time put into her as well, so that being said coupled with that stupid ass front end...for me it’s a no brainer.

hard to predict the future; got to take it day by day lol or you'll always want something newer or better
but i'll be keeping mine. its just a car and I don't think buying the newest one is going to change anything. I could have a e92 right now and say the same thing. |

No, my car is a lease and I have no intention of buying it out. If the G80 looks anything like the renderings, particularly the grill, I’ll just get something else. Plenty of cars to choose from with new ones every year. Even if the G80 looks nice, no guarantee I’d get it. Competition is good.

I'd love to say I'll keep it but my history has proven that bmw part repair/replacement costs escalate over time. To a point where it's no longer worth it to me to keep them. But we'll see with this one.
The G8x ain't happening. Maybe they'll finally listen and change things with the LCI but that sounds delusional just typing it |

I was going to move on from my F80 because I had gotten kind of bored with it, but the other options I was strongly considering ultimately had too many flaws (Shelby GT350 or Camaro ZL1). So I've decided to just keep my F80 and mod it instead to try and revive some interest (exhaust, tune, cosmetic parts). We'll see how that goes.

I've had my 2015 F80 for 5 yrs. Almost got rid of it twice as I wanted to try something different, but now I'm really enjoying it and plan on keeping it until the new M4 comes out. Can't wait for the new M4... grill and all.

BMW has lost the plot with their design and plain offensive business practices such as charging for carplay. Android auto and carplay are free on Hyundais ffs...
Anyway, I'm selling as soon as the c8 z06 is available. I'm craving a pure sports car experience, and the m4 is not that. That said, I've enjoyed my m4 but it's time for change. |

A big part of it too is cost as the vast majority of people lease their BMWs. Since BMW generally has good residuals and frequently offers good lease incentives people can get into an M3/4 for a much cheaper monthly payment compared to a competitor like a Mercedes AMG C63. So while the msrp may be similar for some M3 competitors you will almost surely find that the BMW leases at a much lower monthly rate, and since everyone on here leases you will find them back in a BMW
