It is a pleasure to fix an issues caused by THOR.

Use discount code 15% - THORFIX for purchases.

As others mentioned. Best set up for every M3/M4 is:

Steering: GTS
Differential: GTS
MDM: EURO GTS
Transmission: GTS
EDC (if you have ZCP): CS
ok - I will bite! I will send a note. Thanks!

kubax86 fixed my Thor flash also. I did the flash a while back and the differential always felt kinda weird. It worked but It always felt like it couldn't make up its mind about what it was trying to do. I contacted kubax86 and he was super helpful and when he checked it he said it wasn't coded correctly. After he fixed it the steering is a lot more precise and the differential works like it's supposed to now. If you did the Thor flash I'd highly recommend having it checked.

Kubax86 coded the GTS package for me two days ago, and I’m really enjoying the improvements.

First thing I noticed was the steering. It is lighter yet feels more direct. Previously, I found Sport was a bit too heavy while Comfort was way too light. With GTS steering, Sport is just right.

For DCT, the hesitation at low speed is much improved. Shifts feel even more immediate in D3/S3.

I can’t comment on DSC and Diff yet as I haven’t had a chance to really push the car to notice a difference.

Now, the part I was most concerned about was the CS EDC. I’ve seen mixed reviews where some said it was too soft or floaty. Well, on Comp suspension, CS EDC transformed the car in the most positive way. The best way to describe it is the car feels refined and more confidence inspiring. Comp EDC was overly stiff. I would have to constantly switch between the three EDC settings to adjust to the road conditions. The suspension would easily become unsettled on certain types of bumps. With CS EDC, the suspension feels more compliant yet still taut. I can just leave it on Sport and the suspension can handle just about every road condition so well. This is my favorite of the package.

For those on the fence, this is an amazing upgrade that is well worth the small cost. Kubax86 is also great to work with. Hit him up at bimmer-remote. Note that he’s offering a discount on the GTS package right now (see his post earlier).

Got the GTS flash and there’s a big difference to whatever virus Thor installed. Steering and gear changing is noticeably better.

Hi Kuba. Im interested in the THORFIX discount code to apply for everything GTS except for CS EDC coding. Is it also applicable for the NBT EVO to Idrive 6 and Carplay upgrade if I purchase both packages as a bundle? If so, that would be great!

Anyone know how the GTS DCT flash from Kubax compares to the one from Bootmod3? Curious if the BM3 one is relatively older.

Another happy customer here of kubax86 who fixed my botched Thor upgrade - immediately noticed the improvement on the steering pulling out of the garage.

Did you notice any difference before and after the Thor flash?

I'm also interested in doing this for my 2018 base which I understand shares the rear dampers with the ZCP and same spring rates as the CS. Does the CS EDC really not work well with later model stock suspension?

Well I don't recommend coding CS EDC to base models, but it's doable and you can try yourself if you like it or not. Restoring is included in the service

Thor really messed up my car. Just had my F80 coded to GTS settings with Kubax this morning. When pulling out of the driveway I can immediately feel the steering was much improved. Feels more natural and sensitive. My initial impression overall is that my car feels much more enjoyable and driveable now.

With Thor settings, I realize now, my car was off the way it was coded. Car felt twitchy and more nervous before. So glad i had it recoded.

How come? That's what we did on mine? Should I roll it back?

How different is the car now with the CS edc coding? I'm curious around why it's not recommended.

It depends on preferences. If you like it then it's fine, just the hardware itself (dampers) are a little different.
