remove powder coating?
Hey guys, is it better to remove powder coating or just purchase another set of wheels? The car come with the factory 666m wheels but the previous owner had them powder coated and I really don't like the look, I prefer the factory silver or black wheels instead.

May want to try the classifieds here first and see if anyone wants to trade their OE 666's for yours. Might be better than paying someone to strip the powdercoating and re-powdercoat to a new color.

Better off trading it. They could have repaired/sanded the finish below it so even if you could remove the powder coat you would still have w work to do to polish it. I'm sure someone on the forum wouldn't mind swapping theirs with you to try a new look.

Any chance you have more pics you could post or send? I have Silver 666m wheels, and I was considering powder coating them black, similar to these. Is this a gloss black or matte finish? How many miles are on them, any road rash, scuff marks, etc?
