I have a stock muffler that was upgraded on my 2018 BMW M3 CS. The muffler had a slight rattle on cold starts so I replaced it. I am only asking $300 for it if someone wants it or maybe wants to use the tips.

Man if you were closer. The stock exhaust on this CS I just picked up is so corroded.

I can check to see how much shipping would be but I'm sure with the weight and size, it's going to be a bit expensive. Also, surprised to hear it's getting corroded already and it's only 2 years old I'm assuming.

Yeah, the previous owner just didn't give a shit about cars, so never cleaned the exhaust it looks like. I'm debating whether to spend 6 hours with some metal polish or just buy new tips or a new exhaust

I normally use this steel wool grade #00 from Lowe's with some nevr-dull metal polish. Try giving it a go and maybe go with a grade #0 if it's in rough condition.

Wonder how that'll go with the chrome tips on the CS. Wouldn't this make them essentially brushed?

00 will polish them up nicely with no scratches.

Ok perfect. I'll give it a try on the under section and see how it comes out then go from there. Thanks again! And sorry for hijacking your FS thread.
