Options/packages on 2016 M3
Hi,
I am trying to decide on the following: - Driver assistance plus - Lighting package From the driver assistance plus i really like "Side and top view cameras" when parking, but for 2016 models i think i can pick that separately as long as i have the Exec package which i am. That brings me to the lighting package, is it really worth it? Thanks |

Do you plan on coding the lights to turn on the euro spec dazzle? (Go on YouTube and search for BMW led headlights if you haven't already, you will be amazed) I personally drive a lot at night and I read on here that there isn't much of a performance difference during dry weather but the led headlights perform much better in the rain(can anyone confirm?) The inclement weather performance and the coding for the euro spec caused me to order the led headlights. |

FWIW I won't order it on my '16 (I'm also not touching the exec pkg either and going Spartan with Speed Cloth!). Lights are lights. They illuminate the road and the standard HIDs work fine.

The major technology improvement (adaptive headlight control) requires you to code your car to get the European adaptive light technology since the U.S. version is dumbed down to just dim your high beams.

For lighting, I'm planning to get it but it's probably the lowest priority option on my list.
