Exactly why can't a link be posted? Seems like a lot of PM's. Is it a BimmerPost thing in that you are not a qualified vendor so they will not allow you to post a link.

No. Links / Coding Software is not sold, so Vendor status is irrelevant. It dates back to 2012, when the garageforum.co.uk was shut down, supposedly by MB for having Thread software links. Since then, direct links have been banned on almost all forums.
