bilstein damptronic install question

hi Guys,

I got this setup and I was wondering if anyone knew how you use the existing stock top rubber mount with the top of the bilstein assembly. the problem is the stock rubber mount integrates the dust boot as well. do you have to cut/separate the stock rubber mount from the dust boot? I say this because the bilstein strut already has its own dust boot.

Yes you need to cut it. The instructions clearly show scissors to cut it off
