I pushed it as hard as i could or felt comfortable doing.
too much steering and the car would bite throwing the rear around,

Haven't posted in a little while but went to the Bend back in June.

Epic track. Best for the day was a 2.11.2, but I reckon there's a 10 in it with a bit more bravery.

Best part is the hotel is upstairs, so when you're done for the day, you can head straight to the bar.

Mods are a050's and pagid RS29's. Car is otherwise stock.

I think it's the track - my semi comps were squealing too around some corners - doesn't seem to impact grip, just makes the squealing noise.

You smashed my times on track! It's a fast flowing track and those fast long bends is where you make up a lot of time on me. Your a champ driver, great job.

Does anyone have any track alignment settings handy? About to do my first track day (have a set of 19s and PSC2s) and wouldnt think running standard alignment would be ideal, or is it a non issue?

Adjustment is minimal without front camber plates. Which are a must if you plan to track. Just get your shop to max neg camber upfront, prob circa -2, and rear around the same. Be prepared to shred the outside edges of your front tyres without -2.5 to -3 camber up front. Run them at 34-35 max hot pressure. Better at 32-34 but don’t start too low to begin with or you’ll damage your side walls, monitor adjust a bleed thru day.

Suggest for anybody tracking these cars regularly, camber plates, pagid RS29 pads and 18” wheels with Advan A050 tyres. Great set up and driveable to and from circut. If you’re in Sydney, see Adam @ Advan Performance.

OEM tow hook is fine for most non-competitive track days. Some require you to have 2, and mount them before heading out.

Nice work, dropped over 5 sec at WP since last year! If you’re happy to share, what’s been the contributing factors for the drop in time, looks like change in tyres recently?

Molten rubber might also stick to your car, so maybe wax it the day before to form a barrier.

Might also be a good idea to attached tow hook prior. In the heat of the moment after spinning off the track, the marshalls/towie might pressure you to get the car off asap. Not giving a crap, they might try to attach anywhere they please...

No problem,
Just wondering though, with all the hype in multiple posts leading up to this event, I'm sure you took a video or timed yourself. Where's the data?
