My Ground Control plates arrived and while I wait on a strut socket I decided to do some digging into camber results. I figure I can share my collected data, and perhaps help others in the future.

Note: I have zero concerns about street characteristics, so I've skipped a lot of discussions that start with a discussion around compromised alignments.

M4 GTS specific threads:
https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1335015 - the most focused alignment and result discussion in this sub-forum.

M3/M4 general threads:
https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1144712 - several results posted, but it is a mixture of suspension types and street vs track setups.

https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1622464 - F82 + camber plates + NT01 results. Some good discussion around tire pressures specific to the NT01.

I'll try to keep updating this as I dig around. If anyone has a GTS specific alignment + tire setup they'd like to share, please do.

I'm planning on targeting the following setup:
Stock GTS suspension/wheels/rubber/brakes + camber plates.
Front
Camber: -2.75
Toe: 0*

Rear
Camber: -2.00*
Toe: +0.15*

Following....

Are we also supposed to get adjustable rear toe links if going to a more aggressive rear camber?

Can the GTS have a true corner balance without adjustable sway bar endlinks???

Is +0.15* rear toe....toe-IN, or toe-OUT ?

Looks pretty conservative..for a track only alignment...but I’m not a GTS owner / user.

I'll be curious to see what the factory limits of the rear-end are like. I've read about people adding rear toe links, and I suspect if I start replacing rear suspension components then I'll dig into corner balancing the car. Only really bothered that with caged cars in the past

Positive toe = toe-in. I know my Miata liked just a little bit of toe-in, and it sounded like several F82s were also running just a hair of toe-in.

I'm starting conservative due to 1) it's a new platform for me, it'll take me several sessions to get up to 8/10ths 2) I'm kind of expecting it to be a shitshow without a 6-point.

Figure I start conservative and adjust as I see indicators of outer/shoulder wear. Only planning on a ~125-150mile first session at my home track before adjusting the car.

In order to optimize for track, I would start with at least -3.0

The F82 loves negative camber. I am at -2.7 as a compromise and works, but Nitto NT01 wants more. Happy with MPSS on street.

I'll likely start at -3.0 after giving it some thought. Just waiting on a response from Ground Control to make sure I reassembled the coilovers correctly with the camber plates before getting the car aligned. Have an endurance race this upcoming weekend so I likely won't get a chance to align the car + lap it for another 2-3 weeks.
