Congrats in advance on the new M4. I'm waiting on my M3 that was built back in September. (19" wheel drama/delay)

As for the front plate holder, the best location for it is on a shelf in your garage. I have given strict instructions to my dealer to NOT mount mine. Yes, I'm in Ohio also. Youngstown area. I refer to the second plate as my "spare plate ", should something happen to my rear plate. 😎

I finally got mine last week. This is the first chance I've had to post. The black wheels were worth the wait. They make the car. No offense to the guys with the silver wheels, but man I'm in love with the black wheels.

I can tell you one thing. Those OEM chrome grilles have got to go! Just deciding if I want gloss black, or the painted BSM ones. Along with the painted reflectors too and side markers.

Things developed quickly. I decided to buy an "in-stock" M3 from my local dealership since I was getting concerned about the delays in production date for my M4 order.

I picked-up a 2015 M3 about a month ago...haven't driven it much due to the snow. So far I love it.

Congrats. Do you have a winter set up? I have found mine to be "OK" in the snow and winter once I bought the winter wheels and tires.

I keep thinking I will use my wife's 328i xDrive but when I go to the garage, there's only one I want to start up in the morning!

Thank you. I drive my e60 m5 a little in the winter but I mostly drive my suv when there is snow. The M5 and M3 sit mostly in the winter.

A good idea. There don't seem to be too many around here, at least not active on this forum. I was in communication with a guy from southern Michigan who was looking for some coding help, but we never managed to arrange anything.

Was yours the thread I just read that said you just got bumped by about 10 weeks or so? Week 6 to week 16? If so, that sucks and I'm sorry.

What spec did you order? I know my dealer here has a white M4 in the showroom.

Yep, that was me. Week 6 to Week 17.

I'm guessing you are talking about BMW Cleveland, as I saw they had a Mineral White in their showroom. Unfortunately I'm very picky on options/colors, so it's not what I'm looking for. (Auto transmission for one...a MT is a must for me) Thanks for the info though!

Yep, it also has a moonroof instead of CF. That sucks about your delay!

I actually got some good news today, my car was brought back up to a week 7 build, so it should start production this week. Of course, until it actually starts I'm not holding my breath... I could easily get bumped again.

I never got into coding...have you? I'd feel a lot more confident if I knew someone with some experience in it.

With regard to the coding, yes, I feel pretty confident now. Have the software and cable and have successfully coded several features I really enjoy, especially the anti-dazzle lighting features and a few other things.

Was supposed to enter production yesterday, but didn't. Still scheduled for week 7, but unless it starts Monday that will get bumped. If I do still make week 7 I should have it here by end of March, hopefully.

We always get snow at least once in April, but by March I should be able to bring it out and about :-) at this point I'm just hoping it starts production.
