We've made a set without fins to give you guys an idea of what it looks like.

can the starting edge of the lip be made to be flush with the sides of the bumper? maybe it's just me, but this is going to be a deadly curb feeler...

It's not too bad, it's flush with the wheel and matches with the skirts. If we brought it in, then it wouldnt be seen at all.

Whats the installation like for this lip? Any instructions available?

It should take any shop with a lift about an hr. You use the factory holes to mount the side pieces first, drill in a hole (1 on each side) and then mount the center. I'll PM you the link to the install guide.
