F82 Red Start/Stop Button from Factory

Not sure if this has been encountered yet.

Delivering a 2018 M4 today and it has the Red Start Stop button from the factory without any extra charge. Just an observation. BMW cheated me on my F80! (kidding, don't really care) Curious to see if anyone else has seen this on a new M4.

Nope was just a Black/Black comp package

Yea it's shown on the configurator interior image too, as is a ///M metal dead plate next to where the clutch pedal is or would be. Not sure if that's a new standard addition.

Yeah you're right, just checked the configurator.

That dead pedal has always looked like that, though.

On the m5 the button is gloss, on the m4 I saw it was textured red just like the black one I have on my f80.

My LCI has the red button.

Just picked this up OEM from BMW. I'm all for visual horsepower lol. I threw the box with part number into the picture for those OCD like me that want the factory fit and finish.

I'm thrilled with the red start stop button fom IND, per oem, and now added their M buttons per the M5....love it all. Great, inexpensive, sort of oem upgrade

How much is it for OEM? I'm just wondering if it is difficult to install.

I got the Oem switch as well. The button isn’t just red, there’s metallic in it which looks more premium.

Install takes 2mins if you have pry tools.

Yeah F80s got left out of this one and matching rear seatbelts with ZCP.

BMW's version is a nice matte red finish compared to the gloss IND buttons.

Its a nice touch.

amazed that IND has not yet offered start-buttons in all colors including Individual. i'm holding out for TzB.
