The discount on the car is only 2300. You should be able to do a lot better than that, I would say at lest 6% off the MSRP without much effort but if you shop around a bit then probably could do even better.

They are increasing the MF on you by 0.0004, currently the base MF is 0.00188 assuming your credit is good. So try to shoot for that.

I'm not sure how lease taxes are dealt with in Texas so i can't comment on that.

Thanks for your insight and advice. We’ll see what happens. This will be second car since I’m keeping the Alpina and getting rid of another car.

That's more than my M3 CS payment. You should be able to get more of a discount.

The discount is definitely low but I think the negative equity is really what is killing you. You could get into a CS for cheaper.

OP, I've been offered a CS for 0 down and 1k a month from most dealerships in Texas. That deal is awful. PM me if you'd like.

You guys that keep comparing payments to a CS . . . . don't forget that the CSs are getting discounted a lot more bc the 5K flagship rebate is only for the CS not the regular M3/4 so it's deceiving to compare it that way. However as I said previously yes he should be able to do better than that

Got an M3 for $83xxx and pay less than 1k. I don't consider I got great deal but I'm in Florida. I think you can do better.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I was able to get the MF down, negotiate a little more off the price and I didn't roll the negative equity into the deal. So the new payment is $990/mo. Again, thanks for your comments and advice!
