M4 Lease Help/Thoughts
Something about this “deal” seems a little off to me, but maybe I’m wrong. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Here’s the info:
2019 M4 CP w/Executive Pkg, DCT & a few other options Location: Texas MSRP: 82,585 Discount: 2,300 Selling Price: 80,285 Rebate: 4,500 Sub Total: 75,785 Fees & Taxes: 2,158 Negative Equity/Trade In: 4,075 Sales Price: 82,018 MF: .00228 Money Down: $5,000 (taxes, fees and some of the negative equity) Monthly Payments: $1,173 7 MSDs reduce the MF to .00193 New Monthly Payment: 1,097

They are increasing the MF on you by 0.0004, currently the base MF is 0.00188 assuming your credit is good. So try to shoot for that. I'm not sure how lease taxes are dealt with in Texas so i can't comment on that.

That's more than my M3 CS payment. You should be able to get more of a discount.

You guys that keep comparing payments to a CS . . . . don't forget that the CSs are getting discounted a lot more bc the 5K flagship rebate is only for the CS not the regular M3/4 so it's deceiving to compare it that way. However as I said previously yes he should be able to do better than that

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I was able to get the MF down, negotiate a little more off the price and I didn't roll the negative equity into the deal. So the new payment is $990/mo. Again, thanks for your comments and advice!
