Track My BMW timeline
Hey everyone, new poster to the forums but long-time lurker.
Searched for some info but couldn't find anything specific, so here goes: For those of you that used Track My BMW during your build process, about how long did it take to go from Production Ends to En Route to the U.S.? 2 weeks? 1 month? Longer? Sometimes having this tracker is awesome, but most days it just makes waiting that much harder |

thanks a bunch!
that makes it much easier to guesstimate how much time is left - probably looking at maybe 3 weeks to a month then, ugghhhh. was hoping to get the car before the end of February but looking more like 1st or 2nd week of march then, boooooo. |

I was pleasantly surprised that 'useless' website tracker actually updated within 2 days.

I picked up my car up at the dealer in California before the Track My BMW ever changed from "order documented" or whatever the first step is. Completely useless system. Follow that tracking thread and you'll be the most up to date.

FYI:
As of a week or two ago, the BMW GENIUS, the BMW website and automated BMW number have all been in sync for multiple people who posted in another thread. It seems as if some changes were made to the system. |

Absolutely. This is my second rodeo with an ordered BMW so I have the first go around to compare this to. I talked to a BMW rep on the phone on Thursday to see if my car was shipped, they said no. On Friday, I called again and they confirmed that that same morning it was embarked on a vessel. By Monday AM the BMW website tracker which has historically been TERRIBLE already reflected it was 'En Route to US' and the same went for the 'automated' status when you call BMW.
