We never had a single issue with Pure turbo S55 kits, their kit is as reliable as stock in my opinion

Reliability depends on how far you go with the tuning. You'll find no issues and with the hi-flow the power will hold to or near red line! On 91 (what we have in California) you can expect to make just around 600whp safely. If you go E85, you can conservatively do 650 wheel no problems, or you can push for higher boost (30+ PSI) and go for 700+ easy.

We've done several in-house builds with 0 reliability issues on a long-term and daily basis usage.

If you have questions PM me, I am more than happy to answer any questions 1 on 1 or here in your thread.

Reliability is going to come down to your tune and your choices (like tire, and driving style)....

I've got 93k miles total and 25-30k with pure stage 2. No issues.

Car is daily (obviously) driver, autocross and trackday.

I run bm3 stage 2 91 octane for daily and autocross.

I run bm3 stage 2 hybrid turbo 93 octane for track days.

Stock intake, ER downpipes with AWE exhaust.

Crank hub fix? Any whine from the pure turbos compared to stock?

No dyno runs. There is plenty of info on expected power with bm3 and pure. It is faster than stock.

Stock crank hub.

Noise - I had pure and dp done at same time. In the cabin, there is definitely a lot more turbo noise. Could be turbos, dp or more likely combo of both. Under light loads I can hear what I think is the bypass valve cycling open/close. Never heard that with stock turbo/dp.

I've been thinking about this for like a year and a half with Pure being local (for myself) is an awesome option but I'd check out the just-released Kratos turbos complete replacement, no messing around with cores, keep your stock and its fully bolt on they've got 20k on their test mule completely stock internals, only thing is upgraded clutch and crank hub which are basically a must with any turbo upgrades.

Not sure the crank hub is a must unless you are going in the 700hp club.. pureturbos seem reliable with excellent feedback. As much as I would like to keep cores, it's hard to take a chance on unproven competing turbo kits

No problem. We've tuned a number of S55 and many more F10 M5/M6 with them and no issues.

Thread revive. I’m about to buy a 2015 with Pure turbos, FBO, BM3 OTS 91 map currently. Will get custom tune. Question is, can I run a custom 91 dyno tune making around 600/600 on stock motor and DCT clutches reliability? Don’t want any issues. Car is extremely clean. Not abused afaict. Crankhub done

100%

I ran my F80 200K miles (130K+ miles tuned pushing almost 700whp). My recent 2018 M4 (bought brand new) lasted until 107,500 before I blew a rod out of the oil pan (about a month ago). It was also at ~700whp. The difference between the two is I was running a E50 blend on the F80 and a full E85 fill on the F82. Going forward I will stick with E50 or E30 regardless if I end up with a built motor or stock motor. Also, both cars had the crank hub + CBC (Vargas).
