You can use a bungee cord inside the enclosure -it keeps the enclosure in place instead of drilling.

Big thanks to OP for this thread. It's inspired me to do the same to my car.

I have a quick question as I'm in the middle of the install right now, but can't figure out how to unplug the factory wiring harness from the HK amp.

I'm trying to slide the black connector thing to the right (towards passenger side), but it jams halfway. Since it's only plastic I'm not sure if I should just keep sliding or pulling on it harder or not. I'd hate to break it.

For those who have done this, how did you disconnect this?

I just finished my musicar stage 3 full bass install. I had this issue as well. The best way to figure it out is to connect the 2 ends in the technic harness to figure out how it works. There is a plastic out sleeve that needs to be slid towards the passenger side to release the harness.

Hi.. Good Job on the write up... Anyone recently did upgrade? I am thinking of doing the level 2 full bass , have already upgraded my speakers and underneath sub to Bavsound. Recent pics of install would be appreciated and feedback.

Well, didn't get any response.... Anyone of you recently upgraded theirs recently, need to know your thoughts on the musicar upgrade ??? Need to pull the trigger but then since I am not in the States, it quite a high investment as I would be paying international shipping on the package... Or if there's anything better that's plug and play... Kindly advise...

Why do you need someone who did this recently to respond? Nothing has changed with their line up, it is still great.

The stock speakers ddon't change at all, unless you change them. I used the Bavsound speakers to replace my stock speakers, and that made a difference. The only thing this will do is give you crisp, clean bass, and it won't overtax your stock speakers trying to do bass.

Thanks Dave.
I already upgraded mine to Bavsound all speakers and the underseat subs...
Finally, what I can't make up my mind on is if to go with Full Bass Level 2 or Level 3... If you can advise me, would really appreciate... Thanks!

I went with level 3, and really like it. That said, it probably wasn't much of a difference between level 2 and 3, but if I was going to be in there installing something, I wanted to only do it once, and thus, went with level 3 from the start.
