Groaning noise after shut off
I just heard a weird groaning noise coming from the car after I parked it. It sounded like it was coming from the rear wheels. Sounded kind of like a 400 lb guy was just getting into my back seat and the springs were creaking and groaning. Any thoughts on what this is?!

Can you post a recording of it? I have found that this car makes all kinds of noises, most of which are perfectly normal. Mine makes some sounds after I shut down.

Do you park on a slight incline? If so, it’s most likely the rear brakes biting the discs as it rolls a bit. Maybe try putting the ebrake on a little tighter and see if the sound goes away.

Peking brake makes a groaning sound. Happens to me when I get out of the car. Doesn't always happen but when I'm in the garage it makes the sound more pronounced
