XM radio stopped working

hello,

randomly today my xm radio does not get signal. YES I STILL HAVE A VALID SUBSCRIPTION LOL. I called XM, they said all they can do is attempt to send signal, but since I do not have the "preview channel" it would not work. I need to take it in to bmw, because they have a ticker stating they are having issues with BMW. Has anyone had this issue? literally was on the phone with XM for 45 minutes for them to tell me the same thing. I want to avoid taking the vehicle in for this, seems like something so easy, from either XM's or BMW side.

thanks

If you really don't want to bring it in your only other option is to pull the positive terminal off the battery and leave it off for 10 minutes. There's no radio code or anything in these cars so it won't cause you any headaches. Otherwise it's to the dealer.
