Hey guys. Completely new at the forum. Hopefully I'm gonna be part of the M family to.

I have 2015 Yas Marina Blue on my radar.
I think it has every option available back to 2015 including full silverstone leather and carbon ceramic brakes. Only 16k miles on it. Wrapped xpel, garage queen. Clean carfax, immaculate condition. Private party, $46k.
Drawbacks, warranty gonna ends in few months . Worth it?

Yes worth it. I bought my 2016 MW Dct M3 fully loaded with 5000 miles in 2017 for 60k. 46k appears to be a bargain and the xpel is a must have because the M3 paint chips easy.

With the low miles, full leather, carbon brakes, and wrap I'd say that's a solid buy. I wouldn't worry about the warranty personally.

Have the brakes checked if the car's been tracked. Or at least have them checked anyway, those discs are an expensive replacement.

Yes but I would not totally trust the Carfax. Buy another 4 years of extended warranty and you are good to go.

I though about extended warranty but I heard it's really expensive. Any ideas how expensive?

The True is I'm not gonna track the car and my annual millage gonna be less than 7k miles. So even in next four years car gonna be Under 50k miles. Do I really need warranty? they are that unreliable?

Yea I'll check the brakes. I saw just two front rotors costs over $7k, that's insane!!

Without tracking they should last forever. I'm not gonna take full advantage of them beside cool look, no dust and rust

You have to buy the extended warranty before the factory one expires. Since your car has less than 25k miles, the rate is cheaper and I believe it is around $5k for the Fidelity Platinum plan for another 4 years with 50k miles.

You can search the bimmerpost and I believe there are couple go to dealers to purchase Fidelity plan.

Thank you!

I believe there's more 991 GT3/GT3 RS' than all the other previous generations combined. They're cranking them out as much as possible.

RS still sale for more than MSRP ......sold mine for 215k 208 MSRP. M4 91 MSRP, and wholesale 48k in 3 years. I’ve owned BMW’s for 18 years, and this is first time I have passed. Too many M brands ....Porsche protects GT cars, and distribution. Also sold my 2015 GT3 after two years slightly under MSRP.

I got MY CPO 2015 M4 6spd mineral grey with carbon roof and all the goodies I would want for 47k with 17k miles. I'm thinking I did good, am I wrong?

The challenge is getting an RS at msrp. If you paid 50k over, not such a great deal. Same with the gt3. Also I think you were pretty fortunate to get out of that rs for that money, the are many on the market now and most are just hoping to sell. Real sales are mostly under 200k.

Right about the M3/M4. I see 2017 m3 competition cars in the low 60s for cars with stickers near 90k, including ceramic brakes. Makes me wonder why get a new m2 competition when a lightly used m3 could be had for less?

Sweet deals then. If I were a 918 owner, I wouldn't mess around in BMW land. I expect even my m2 will lose value like a bomb. The new gt3 really rocks. Still think the rs market is very soft, there are plenty on the market. Gt3's always seem to trade well, they just have broader appeal than an rs.

Congrats you got lucky because they shut off WP orders. Black, full leather, PCCB’s and Lizard interior. My last one was purple UV missed it and got another. Will keep this one.

Historically you alway do better with a RS ............. I like all cars and try them.

I don't know about 30s but I did get mine for low 40s with 35k miles, 1 owner, leased, no accidents, and it had carbon fiber everything along with the safety package (A true 2015 built F82.) I'm 24 driving a dream car before I'm an old man so I'm thankful for the price drops for sure.

Found a 2016 M4 with 35K miles, 2 owners, no accidents, non-CPO (also out of warranty), Executive Package, black front splitter/spoiler for $41K. Seems like a great deal? If I go for it, would like to try for 10% off...
