Thanks man! I've been considering trading my silver wheels for the black/silver wheels just to change it up a bit.

I'm glad I'm not in the market for an M4 because I'd waste an inordinate amount of time agonizing over the wheel color choice. Just when I thought black was better for YMB I see your pics and now I think it's silver.

Plus there's something to be said about a car that can look classy and aggressive at the same time. I honestly doubt I'd change anything about your car

Had to come back here to let you know that your pics are now making me consider YMB as an option.
My first choice is to go Individual, but with ZCP being as expensive as it is, I might end up going for a standard color and YMB is hitting the spot this weekend

I stopped by the dealer again today to take another look at it. They have an YMB M3 sitting near a SO M4 and a EBII 435. It furthered my decision to get YMB in the fall. I like that it looks a little more unique than the EB and I while an interesting color don't care for the darker rust tones of the SO in the overcast weather.

mostly everyone loves it, get stopped all the time about the car and color, wife hears about it all the time too.
I think the black wheels look the best.

First time owning a car with such a bold color as I'm usually a black or white guy and I must say YMB is a perfect fit on the F80.
Instantly recognizable as an M car. No regrets.

Yas in the snow. It really does pop in certain light, and goes matte in other.
From matte baby blue to glowing electric blue, the car has all the shades. Funny (to me) story: I always get my new (to me) cars VIN-verified at the same local auto shop here in CT. I have gone through several cars in the past 5 years, and every time the same old man (80yr+) does the VIN verification. I have brought every type of car through here, from a BMW, to an R8, to most recently an enormous Ford Raptor SuperCrew. This dude does not blink an eye and just goes about his business. Well not this time... I give him the key and he goes outside to start the car, check the numbers, etc. He comes back in, looks at me, and says (very slowly), "well you sure don't see THAT shade of blue on a BMW every day!" I couldn't tell if he liked it or hated it. But considering it seemed to have break the old man out of his daily monotonous routine, I'll take it!

The first few weeks, I went on a road trip and had 3 or 4 guys chat me up about it and a couple pics. I usually work quite a bit and my work is a private location so its all freeway for me and not really out and about with it where people have the opportunity. I did get one girl the at told me she like the color/car but I don't think she wasn't of age, so that doesn't count.
