Ps don't forget to enjoy the first 1200 miles! It's a sports car and the manual suggests:
1. Regularly changing speed and revs.
2. Not taking above 5.2k rpm
3. Not above 106mph

Ie not fully loading throttle or kick downs. Can still have a lot of fun progressing to 5.2 rpm in sport +

Ive wondered about the whole 5500 rpm thing. Can you go WOT to 5500 or no WOT at all?

: no winter set up and I live in pittsburgh... It's just going to have to be this way. Take solace in the fact that I put over a thousand miles on it in the last half of December. It definitely gets driven

ED Aug 10, stateside redelivery Oct 25. Current mileage 3500.
No problems except:
(1) 'tin can scrape' once in euro when driving over new asphalt -- guessing it was pebble in brake shield; (2) some brake screeching descending the grössglochner -- never returned; and (3) yesterday the door latch return spring broke -- I have to manually move little black disk where door latches before closing door. Will take to dealer tomorrow for that.

I was thinking about this the other day, but I'm probably pretty high on the list of high mileage F80/F82's right now.

I've got 9100 miles on mine (July delivery).

I'm going to put another ~1500 miles on it over the next week on my return drive from PA to FL.

No problems yet. Will be due for another service shortly, though.

November. 2200 Miles. Dinan Tune and other exterior/interior mods. Rattling behind the radio (fixed, dealer had to put something behind the plate to reinforce it) apparently it's common.

Bluetooth issues with IPhone 6. (Fixed with recent software update)

Exhaust ticking noise went away when I did the valve open mod.

No alignment issues BUT I did run over a metal pipe on the freeway (couldn't avoid it) and it dented my control arm and steering column. Best shop in SD is saying 11K to repair and up to 6-8 weeks without my car! Bmw couldn't even fix it, had to send it to a specialty shop. Made me realize how fragile these cars are...

You can steady and progressively hit 5500 quite quickly but just not fully load throttle or kick down.
