Spare tire & rim

Hi everyone; I know that the F80 do not have a spare tire and rim due to many reasons; but if I want to have one ..... what shall I do?, I spoke to the dealer in Lima, Peru and told me that because the front and rear rims are different there is not a single spare that will work on both.

Itīs true that front and rear rims are different yet there must be an option that fits both.

I am concern in case I broke a tire or the 19" rim.... in the middle of nowhere with my family.... those long trips where you enjoy the driving can turn into a nightmare.

Has anyone found an option to this? Thanks !!!!

Yes, there is a single spare for OEM 18" and 19" sizes which will fit in all 4 corners. Check Bimmerzone for their offerings. I have aftermarket wheels on mine and will likely have to buy the M6 spare from BZ to match the size.

^^^ that's correct, see the picture below for the space saver spare you can get at bimmerzone.com specifically for your car. These come with a spacer and longer bolts to clear the brakes, but it is designed for your car. There is also a similar kit available with an aluminum wheel rather than steel, I think I saw this at Turner motorsports. You might want to check with the BMW distributor in your country to avoid shipping costs from the States.
