Yes, can definitely feel the waviness. I'd guess the height variation is around 0.5mm.

To be clear, this did not happen on my F80 M3, nor do I own a 991.2 Porsche GT3 (I wish); this heavily grooved (drilled) rotor outcome was on a friend's car after a recent track day with 3.12s front and rear. The pads had not been recently installed and were fully broken in / bedded.
