J-Pipe Question

Just got a "new" J-Pipe but upon inspection with delivery I noticed the side which connects to the intercooler is bent.

Will this cause an issue with installation? I will need to return it for a new one if so.

Just not sure if this end sleeves over the intercooler connector or if they both just mate underneath the rubber collar that connects them.

Any input is appreciated!

As long as the raised part is still round your screw clamps will seal it. The TMIC flange doesn't sit inside the J flange, there's a gap that the silicone coupler bridges. Sucks to see a new part dinged. My cast aluminum J by Evolution is damn beefy.

Added: how about using a wooden broomstick or dowel rod to roll that dinged edge round again? The metal looks thin enough.
