Too much trouble. I’ll turn it in in October 20 and prolly have a 21 that I’ve ordered and waiting on. I’ve got a 07 a4 that I keep around. Other than drinking oil, never had a problem at all with it.

Unfortunately, chances are I'll never get one bc from the few Audi dealers I've worked with in the past (never bought an Audi), they are notoriously difficult. And there is something about getting a good deal too. With BMW, it is so easy. Hell, I'd be happy if BMW brought over their M340 long roof, but an M5 touring would be phenomenal!!

This car will be nearly impossible to obtain, and that's before shady dealers and their potential markup! It was fun while it lasted...

This is a quote from over on the Audi forums. The Audi dealer I've been talking to also mentioned "built in small batches" despite being told it isn't a limited production (huh?):

This will be a good candidate in a few years on the used car market when its half price. My neighbor bought a preowned RS7 with a sticker price of 125K and paid 70 for it. Its only a 3 year old car.

The only problem is that it lives up to the normal Audi reputation of being super unreliable. Needing to replace the camshafts shortly after he bought it. All covered under warranty but it was a big repair and they scratched up his bumper/fender during the engine out service....

You could always get a new e63s wagon, or a used CTS-V with 6MT or any other one of the many fast wagon like things (suv or lift backs) if you really were interested.

Or you could, you know, put a deposit and wait your turn and keep insisting you won’t pay a markup.

My brother had to wait a while for his e63 a few years ago but he got one in the end, and I had to wait 3 year for a shot at a gt4 (which I turned down btw) but you can make it happen

As an aside, I put down $100 for a cybertruck. 0-60 in 2.9s, bulletproof, seats 6 and tows 14k sounds like a good fast wagon alternative to me

What caliber and how many (also the whole truck?)? The highly public demonstration failure wasn't confidence inspiring.

I like the memes though of an Aztec mounting a Delorean from behind to create this offspring.

Definitely a good looking car, but I don't get the fast wagon craze. Especially not for 120k and up, which this thing most likely will be with options. I'd rather get the RS7 for that kind of money.

E63s wagon does nothing for me, looks like a turd. Nor does a used CTS-V. And I just sold my wife's X5M (for an M50i), so not really interested in another suv. This RS6 Avant is just pure sex IMHO!! Moreover, I like to snag killer deals on my vehicles, and that's just not in the forecast for this beauty anytime soon or ever. Maybe I'll have a greater chance of picking up a used one in a couple of years. But I'm so OCD, I'd find every little thing wrong with it.

BTW, you must really be knee deep into the Tesla Cult. lol That cyber truck is definitely not for me!

Apparently 9mm full metal jacket shot from 10m with a handgun, due to the hardness of the metal used.

There’s an explanation (excuse?) posted about the glass getting cracked at bottom from sledgehammer, which caused cracked glass, and other backstage vid where the steel ball did bounce off the glass.

Yea absolutely I think those memes are hilarious and on point. It will be even more hilarious if that truck can go from a dig and low roll better than a lot of pure sports cars. In a way it’s like an f80 getting walked by a big wagon with 2 child seats strapped in the back

Seriously, I have drunk the EV koolaid hard since I really like my daily driver. I’m also a nerd and I think that’s the target combo for that “truck”. Lol.
