It still helps a lot. You get to know the turns and the good lines.

See by yourself, first time on Laguna Seca and I did well according to my instructors. http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showp...8&postcount=21

Terrific video, thanks for sharing. Assume laptimes dropped with every lap getting a feel for the corners, and how much grip on the pilot super sport.

I guess it depends how many times you played the circuit on video games and the length of the track. I played the nurburgring stage-C on Forza 5 maybe 3x more often then I played the whole track. When i got on the Nordschleife in my car I forgot everything after a few corners until I got to the part where Stage C begins in Forza and that helped boost my confidence a bit

They had an entire crew there. To think they were they working...what a way to to spend a day in the office. It turned out to be quite convenient as someone in our group had an issue with their m3 (turned out to be nothing), and the BMW racing team was able to hook it up to their computers to diagnose.

The driver of the white car looks like a yahoo. Missing the apexes and running way up on the curbing.

Thanks for sharing!

The elevation changes and compression zones are what made the video game worthless for me when I was at Spa and the Nurburgring. No matter how many laps you do in a sim its not even close. At the ring I was only able to recognize about 5 turns from the game, the rest was just trees, blacktop, hills.
