BMWCCA VIR Tarheel & Toe Sept. This may not be the place for this post. I normally have a place to stay but not this event as my track partner is not going this event. Where does everyone stay. Riverside Inn ok or will I end up with bedbugs? Anyone want to get a VRBO?

Lienrocs might have experience. I have a few buddies that use him for track prep/modifications. All of them have said good things.

I usually stay at the Hampton in Danville. Only 20mins to the track, clean, usual chain breakfast, and near lots of food options for dinner.

Thanks. I have stayed there once and had to after I was woken up 2x at the Riverside Inn. Once at 11:25 by a hooptie with 32" wheels and straight piped. Second time at 1:05 with someone shouting FU 6-8 times near my window. Riverside is off the list.

I just bought a set of the brand spanking new Hoosier Track Attack Pro XL tires. I will test them at WGI the following weekend. Been happy with the RE71RS but I'm excited to see how this compare.

$1720 before taxes on Tire Rack (295/30-18).

It seems like places people would reccomend before (winding road) aren’t open anymore. Any other spots out there?

Will the updated brakes be installed by then or is Girodisc the holdup?

Unfortuntely not. I'll be upgrading to the 2NH brakes over the winter. By then, I should have the girodisc 380mm rotors and titanium pistons from Track/S. And, I just learned that Bimmerworld is planning to offer 332/331 pads for these brakes.

There's no reason for a fast tire to be as durable as the ecf or the rs4. These are meant to be fast tires, as long as they're faster than other fast tires and last the same we have a winner
